Elizabeth are listed as single, not widowed. But it points to the father being one
of James' son, Alfred. Of the other sons, the wives of both William and Frank
Pitt was Scottish, and John's wife (Neoney Rabson) was English. In the 1880
census, James and Mary (Barchard) Pitt are living 2 houses away from Jacob
Rabson.
